storyture
Storyture is a digital library where the fictional and nonfictional co-exist.
Kids and adults alike can come into Storyture to learn, create, and explore.
Storyture is built on top of three fictional worlds: Bakuh, LuciƩrnagas, and Terra. Stories within each world are research papers, and each world is a research journal where life runs at a different scale. For Bakuh, LuciƩrnagas, and Terra, the base unit for length are the micrometer, the meter, and the zettameter, respectively.
People publishing through Storyture can create the stories through the platform as well as undergo the research that brings their stories to life.
My name is Pablo. I'm originally a filmmaker from Mexico City who found his way into a science classroom.
I studied at Minerva University, a school that gave me the perspective I needed to pursue Storyture.
With Storyture, I hope that a research paper can become a musical, an artwork can become a research tool, and we explore fields of knowledge through amusement parks.
I believe every person can do science, science can taste like art, and that knowledge exists in the unlikeliest of places.
If you'd like to support this project, you can become a patron. As a patron, you'll be able to access any research notes, guide the library's trajectory, and get exclusive access to the beta version of the app.
Rather than making recurrent payments, you can make one time donations at BuyMeACoffee
You can also visit the shop, where you can buy stickers, post-cards, and maps.
